ABOUT MANCHESTER CARERS CENTRE
There are around 7 million unpaid carers in the UK and this number is rising. 3 in 5 of us will become one at some point. 58% of them are women but carers come from all backgrounds. All too often Carers lives are frequently blighted by money worries, debt, mental health issues and social exclusion. Being a carer has its reawrding moments but can push careers, friendships and relationships to breaking point. The effects of which can last a lifetime.
Set up in 1997, Manchester Carers Centre provides: free, confidential, information, advice, practical and emotional support for the city's 60,000 unpaid carers. As well as opportunities for training, skills, respite breaks and activities. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support the vital work they do.
www.manchestercarers.org.uk
PLEASE NOTE: If you're an unpaid carer and would like to attend (or know someone who is and would like to come) email: [email protected] with 'Guestlist' in the subject line for free entry to the gig. All emails will be treated in the strictest confidence.
